The building at 53 Maple St Maleny is an old mechanical workshop and showroom, complete with rustic wooden floors, part of the early history of the town. It became available when the occupying florist moved across the road. Conveniently, there is an organic café next door.
After some discussion it was decided there is a need to share the space to advance knowledge in unique skill sets which can be quickly learnt and passed on by example and experience. The space is now available both to those who wish to pass on a skill and to those who come to learn that skill.
There are countless classes that can be held. A few examples are photography, organic cooking, painting, sign writing, cake baking, etc. Courses can be very specific and even quirky, like face painting.
